WALK THE PATH PERSONAL TRAINING
FAQS
Need to Know
Here are some of the most commonly asked questions I’ve received regarding fitness training and my work. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, please reach out and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?
I started Walk The Path with my core values and life experiences in mind. Values such as compassion, mutual aid, respect, and autonomy, tempered by my experiences with chronic illness, disability, and the tumultuous nature of life. With this in mind, I seek to treat every situation as individually as it deserves within my scope of practice. Truly, every path is unique, and there is no one way to get to where you are going. I bring a passion for seeing you live your best life and an open mindedness as to what that means that you just won't find in your standard gym.

DO YOU OFFER NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE OR COACHING?
At this time, I do not. Within my scope of practice, I can recite FDA guidelines to you in a more palatable form, or discuss the things that I do personally, but neither of those are intended to serve as nutritional guidance. I can, however, point you in the direction of some fantastic dietitians.

HOW MUCH EQUIPMENT WILL I NEED TO HAVE FOR ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING?
You do not need to have any equipment available when starting online Personal Training. I will design your exercises around your path, to ensure that I get you to your destination. That being said, tools are there to make jobs quicker and "easier", and I do have some simple recommendations. A yoga mat or similar item for stretching on, 1-3 kettle bells or dumbbells in your range of comfortable weight, a medicine ball (under 10% of your body weight), a pull up bar, and a selection of exercise tubing is more than enough to build a plethora of well rounded fitness routines that will physically challenge and stimulate you.
